[Milsurplus] Utterly OT: Weird Snow

Now that the snow is melting, I'm seeing a lot of cars with
a thin residue of ultra-fine, rust-colored powder.  Finer 
than talc.  Surely it must be atmospheric dust, but the storm 
came from the northwest.  Dust from the Plains is darkish
and dust from the southwest is buff looking.  The only 
iron-ore dirt near here is in Louisiana, and that's east.
Hmmmmm.......
