[Milsurplus] Taylor Super Modulation and Rothman Modulation

These are the modulation methods I was thinking of.
I understand there were articles in CQ, 1951 or thereabouts; also
articles in QST. I know super modulation is not permitted in some (most/all?)
countries for amateur use.
Seems quite interesting. I'd like to experiment with the circuits.
Does anyone have any experience with them - or the actual articles?
