Looking at that think you get a better picture of what type operation and sales they do. Myself think some of the prices are on the high side but that's just me. Have to wonder how much of their business is involved with props or items for display? They have a link just for that. Saw that they have a TDE fading out in the California sun listed as a prop.
Cost of items and size of collections are all a relative things more dependent on the size of your storage space than anything else, the more space you have the more junk you accumulate. Cost, wow who can explain that for years I have been amazed by people who pay two or three times the price for a item on Government liquidators or one of the other Government online auction sites for what you can buy the same item for on EBay or at a swap meet or hamfest. 
Apex is indeed a surplus company, and they do have a lot of junk but do not consider them to be in the same league Murphy, Fair radio or a Toronto Surplus or Helmut Singer. But their web page dose have a nice look to it and great photography. What other online surplus dealers are out there?
