As far as equipment and documentation goes, I am. Hawaii sucks in both
regards to the point I am considering moving back to the mainland*. Not at
any deep level yet but it is in the back of my mind. One big reason I don't
go back (aside from this being a DXCC country ;-) ) is that Hawaii is a
"comfortable" state for someone like me with severe social anxiety where
none of the mainland states come anywhere close.
* The larger reason is, of course, being closer to Noelle but that isn't of
import to this topic.
Going to "others", the contributors of note here are yourself, Dave, Gordon,
Mike M and Robert. Others like the aforementioned and Todd and a few more
do so by creating systems while still others study and/or preserve
equipment. And, to round out the pot, I provide comedy relief since it's
what I'm good at. (It's a tough job but someone's got to do it, y'know?)
For every one here, I have to wonder how many there are not on the various
lists who are doing the same as we are.
Best regards,
Michael, WH7HG ex-K3MXO, ex-KN3MXO, WPE3ARS, BL01xh ex-Mensa A&P PP BGI
