[Milsurplus] Update - General Electronics 14D2-S5

It's alive and looks to be a spectrum scope. Brought it up SLOWLY w/ a Variac. No smoke, clean line on the CRT.

Lloyd KK7IZ recommended I hook up a freq generator and sweep it until I saw a spike. I gave it a shot w/ my venerable Knight kit and got the first spike (modulated carrier w/ both sidebands) at indicated 455 kHz. I get them all the way up to ~30 MHz. I'll couple it to my BC-221M tomorrow and get a more precise picture of where the hotspots are.

Nice to look at in the shack at night. Now to find a schematic/manual and a spare bulb for the reticle back light (these are the little ones (~1/4 x 3/8) that fit behind those rubberized screw covers w/ the 4 buttons on the perimeter). Checking Mouser for replacements.
