Repeating Marks "Cold War Net" announcement below
, those of you preparing those PRC-6's
for Dayton can find instructions for a battery
box on my pages. The PRC-6 is a very easy radio
to get operational as it was designed to cover the
6 meter band. Easy, quick project.

"2:30 local: Cold War Net. Frequency will be
51.0 Mhz FM. Open to all
radios that will hit that freek and mode, but the
focus is always on
military FM sets of all types from the Cold War
period from the
conclusion of WW2 to when the Soviet Union split
up. Wideband, narrow-band,
K9WT will hear you. After the net, meet up at
Joe's space 3415 for pix and
 a wrap-up. Net Control: John K9WT."
