[Milsurplus] PRC-174 Conversions

Hello

I am looking for some info on PRC-74. First is has anyone converted it to
LSB ? There is a mod for changing the 1750 ctrystal to 1747kc. the other
question I have regards changing the 74 to a 74B. There is a guy on EBAY
selling NOS synthesizer modules for a 74B and he claims they can just drop
in a 7a and voila ! A 74B is born.  Any thoughts ?
