[Milsurplus] BC-342 question

Elden;

   I have the same thing on my BC-322. It's for an anti sway shock mount. The
four holes were for a 'L' shaped bracket. The vertical part had a hole in it and
a rod with wing nuts ran through it. The other end of the rod ended in a shock
mount (like a Barry mount) that was bolted to a carrying case or the wall of the
vehicle (mount like ft-173?? don't have stuff here with me).
