[Milsurplus] Collins automatic antenna coupler / tuner

I just acquired a 490T-9 which looks much like a 490T-1 with the exception of an 
added fan and a ceramic / metal vacuum variable capacitor instead of the usual 
glass.  Because of these differences, I suspect that the power rating is above 
the 630 watts of the 490T-1.  Does anyone know for sure?

Will the manual found on the web for the 490T-1 apply as well to the 490T-9?
