I opened two more accounts recently because they limit their searches to 100
items, rather than a more realistic (for me) 300 or 500 per account.  The
only requirement was that I use a different e-mail address and user name for
each one.  I have bought and made payments through them without any trouble.

Here is a note from a seller I just won an auction with a few minutes ago,
note that three of the four payment options are "against ebay policy":

"I will accept PERSONAL CHECKS up $30.00 AMOUNTS ABOVE THAT MUST BE Pay-Pal,
Money Order, or Certified bank check ONLY"

I'll pay with paypal because it's convenient and free to me, but he'll take
a loss on the transaction.
