A pretty long while back someone here was asking about a manual for Navy DP.
Did you find what you needed?
I found a book, a Navy training course, cover gone and binding gone, no 
title page,
so unknown. Only this penciled note on first page:

1940/
Mar 26, 1943  Took Exam Rcvd 3.4

It has info on DO-* DP-* and DQ
4 pages on DP; description, schematic, parts list.
