Marshall -

When faced with a similar problem rebuilding coils in an SRR-13A, I made my
own from multiple strands of enameled wire, it works fine. Hang it from a
rod and use a pencil at the bottom to take out the slack, then spin it
around to twist the strands. Apply a little beeswax the length of it to hold
it in place, then start rewinding your coil.

Subject: [Milsurplus] Source for Insulated Litz Wire?

I am attempting to repair a WWII English (HUSUN) Bubble Sextant that was
apparently wired with about a yard of such wire. Can anyone suggest a
source?
