Attention all group members who hit the buy-it-now button on the original actions of the Harris RF-5800U-MP Falcon Radios:

The seller ocdepot.04 in the auction below actually had 5 radios with original buy-it-now auctions. In my discussion with another of his customers who also had his sale cancelled, Our best option is to Issue Seller Strikes for each cancelled purchase for seller non-performance. One needs to come from each customer. These can be initiated through E-Bay Live Help. First under the seller request to cancel the transaction, refuse to agree . This communicates to the seller that you do not agree to cancelling the transaction. Even with his refund of your money, initiate a seller strike for non delivery of the radio. (If he did decide to honor his original commitment, he'd send you another request for payment). We need to have a minimum of 4 seller strikes issued by customers to cause E-Bay to put the seller on probation or delist.

Note that seller strkes are different than negative feedback. This seller needs to get both.

I have located the customers of 3 of the radios, Please help me find the other guys who had their auctions cancelled after winning with buy-it-now and have them issue seller strikes and then if no satisfaction the negative feedback. Ebay Seller ocdepot.04 should not get away with this unscathed.

Thanks for your support!

Group members:

I would like to ask all members of this group to avoid the seller ocdepot.04 and the RF-5800U-MP Falcon II radios he is selling.

I found two listings on E-Bay a day ago for Harris RF-5800U-MP Falcon II Military manpack radios one was E-Bay item #330476467037, with antenna and handset in nice condition with a buy-it-now price of $849.99. I found another unit later with a buy-it-now price of $999.99 with similar description but including a battery box and external accessory cable. The second one was E-Bay item #330476467012. I hit the buy-it-now button for both units and paid for them using PayPal. The seller ocdepot.04 accepts my payment and sends me positive feedback for both transactions. I was all excited about receiving my new toys! This afternoon I get home from work and I receive a question on the E-Bay system from ocdepot.04 stating he wants to cancel the sale. A minute later I got a note from Paypal indicating that ocdepot.04 had refunded my total payment. I then did a search on E-Bay and found that the seller had relisted the same Harris RF-5800U-MP I had earlier won in a
new auction as 390244237417. What was interesting is that he relisted the item even before he had sent me the notification that he was cancelling his earlier sale to me.

In the notification E-bay sent to me where ocdepot.04 was informing me that he was cancelling my sale. they offered me two buttons, "agree" or " take action". I pressed the "take Action" button and sent him a note declining to accept his cancellation of the sale. E-Bay then displayed the note "dispute closed." Interestingly, because the seller refunded the money, the E-Bay won't allow me to leave negative feedback for the seller.

If you want one of these radios, fine, go to the new auction #390244237417 and bid for it. Don't worry, if you miss the first, there will be five more, because he also pulled back the completed deals back from the other customers who also won these radios. (Probably some of you are members of this list. If you want to talk to this seller, the business name is On Line Consignment Depot telephone number 714-540-5832.

Me, I've lost interest in this seller and his radios. If he can not honor the deals he makes, he does not need my business!
