: The ability to DF intermittent signals of even a few msec has been with
: us for ten years. If a serious target gets on their radar you don't have
: a chance of avoiding detection to a very high degree of accuracy.

Now walk to the next room and the original location is useless. "Nah... I
just got here, it was the other guy that left ten minutes before you
arrived".

I met a fellow in college that used to "play" on the radio. Sheriff, FCC,
FBI, SAR, US Marshals, various field agents, trucks, cars, craft, you name
it... I watched them all run around the region, like chicken with their
heads cut off, even within three feet of the perp, the BEST they could do is
hear an unknown signal of unknown origin traveling at the speed of light,
just like any other clown with a radio, waste a few million $, then and walk
away with nothing after five years of his games. I didn't know whether I
should laugh or cry. Now I know. I laugh.
