Oh, I dunno, guys.
We may not need to be so cynical about it just yet.
Assuming a certain young man doesn't 
check-out before me, my stuff will go through
at least one more step of distribution.
If all I wanted was some temporary amusement
until "that great gettin'up mornin'",
there are cheaper and easier ways to get it.

Remember: There was a time when people said:
"That old crap?  Who cares?!?  It's all going
to the dump..." about everything from 100 Years War
armor to B-52s.  And most of it did.
But not all.  How many people care squat about
the American Civil War today?  One in ten thousand?
A hundred thousand?  Yet the ACW reenactment 
and preservation community is thriving.
You don't need masses; you need a few
with passion and commitment, 
and they are out there.

There is always a remnent-
a core of passion and interest that carrys on.
The few have always "carried the fire" for the many.
As I've said before: never look for validation 
from the masses.  The masses of humanity are nothing
but destructive noise in the equation of existance.
"There is nothing more foolish
than a majority," said Jefferson.
Have faith in "our" minority.
I want our passionate few 
to have something to "carry on."
