Good for you!

A friend joined "LinkedIn" and the site grabbed her address book and
"invited" everyone to join.

I filed abuse complaints, without any apparent effect.

This is nothing less than data mining. I'd urge everybody to be extremely
leary of these abusive social networking sites.
