[Milsurplus] ID this transceiver

Late WWII perhaps, VHF, 3 or 4(?) preset frequencies, crystal controlled.
In box FT-244-A.
Marked TR-5049 (hard to read) and A&M 110D/148.

Didn't remove from the box. With the box lid closed, the only connectors are
a pair of octal sockets on top. This also gives access to all the frequency
settings and crystals.

Thanks for any info/guesses.
