[Milsurplus] WW II Radio shops and Techs

WOW.  Thinking about that old Howard brought back some memories.  A friend of mine from Oklahoma who was stationed with me in Northern Michigan back in the early 60's wanted to become an Airline pilot when he got out of the service.  Had some hours in a variety of aircraft but had the opportunity to buy a very nice Howard.  

Let me tell you, of all the hours i spent in the air with him in that airplane, i don't think we ever made a landing where we didn't bounce.  So that made all of them good ones because we didn't leave anything behind on the runway and as a bonus we made it down every time we went up, which of course is one of the requirements of being a good pilot or is it having a good airplane?
