Seems like a pretty nutty price for the condition especially, Ray.
Both are pretty badly mauled. I think the clean examples tend to bring
high prices like a new ARC-5 rig would, but overall they don't appear
to be terribly rare.

Mike Hanz would be a one to answer your 'real' question. I learned
most of what I know about the RAX from him and his pages.
