[Milsurplus] AC Power on Ships

As a teen, I bought a new in crate RCA TBS radio. However I did not pick
up the dynomotor as it was just too heavy (I regret that now)

In the TBS, the receiver is 115 VAC 60 Hz; the TBS transmitter uses the
dyno which is either 115 or 230V DC. BTW, that set is now on the destroyer
Haida, near Toronto, Canada.

Thanks everybody for all the comments. Much appreciated.

Best,

-John
