It's just a coincidence that this list has become available as the reflector is talking about another estate sale.
For your consideration...
My friend of 30 years, Somme (pronounced SAH-mee) Tolk, N6JKB, went SK earlier this summer after a long battle with cancer. On behalf of his family I'm handling the mil surplus part of his estate.
Disclaimer: I have zero financial interest in any of this equipment. My goal is to help the family get fair value for the items.
This list of available equipment and accessories is being made available to members of the Yahoo groups ArmyRadios, HFPack and MilPack, and also the Milsurplus reflector. After an as-yet undecided interval (it won't be long) the items will be put up for auction on eBay.
The list includes links to available pictures. You should be able to click on a link and have the JPEG come up.
Obviously this is all first-come first-served. Item numbers have no particular significance, they are just the way we labeled our pix for reference.
The seller has a Paypal merchant account, can accept credit cards, and has access to a Fedex account.
So far, we have checked out the GRC-109 components and found all of them to be working, or repairable - see details in descriptions.
We are planning on additional testing as the ham helping us finds time. This may not happen for a while. In the meantime, the equipment is offered at the stated conditions and prices. All of the radio sets are in complete, repairable (if not immediately operational) condition. See individual descriptions for more details.
All prices given do not include shipping. Prices given are based partially on my estimates and mostly on the experience of two other hams with a lot of background in this era of surplus. They are firm. Absolutely no foreign sales or shipment on any item. Sales and shipment to the 50 U.S. states only, no exceptions. Sorry, simply not worth the hassle. If you find a U.S. resident on your own who's willing to act as an intermediary, that's fine.
Any questions? Email me DIRECT. NO queries posted on any group or reflector will be acknowledged or answered. If you are interested in purchasing an item, I'll put the seller in touch with you via email or phone.
I'll do my best to work with you, but whiners, complainers and flamers will be ignored.

This equipment is all located in the Los Angeles area. Local pickup is acceptable, and possibly preferable for heavy items.
PRC-47 ITEMS:
Item 19, AN/PRC-47 set in transit case. All items included EXCEPT the CX-8394 and CX-8395 DC power cables, the rucksack, and the actual innards to the silver-zinc battery. The CX-8393 AC power cable IS included which can be rewired into a DC cable and shortened to 10' or so to prevent voltage drop. The connector is the scarce part. We would likely slap a FEDEX or UPS shipper label on it and send the whole thing. It IS a transit case after all. $275 (Coast-to-coast shipping roughly $140).

GRC-109 ITEMS:
PLEASE NOTE:
One small GRC-109A small power supply (PP-2685A) has an AC power cable that is frayed at the point it enters the radio. The conductors were visible so we did not test this supply. The AC cable is the easiest one of all to fix on these sets since there are only two conductors and there is plenty of length on the cord. $25 will be deducted from the cost of the set when this supply is included.
One large GRC-109A supply (PP-2684A) has a non-reading meter, although the supply does power a set correctly. The voltage selector can be used as per normal to set the input AC level. This should be an easy fix. However, $25 will be deducted from any set including this supply.
On a first-come first-served basis we can put together a more desirable 4-piece set consisting of RX, TX, large power supply, and small power supply, $450.
Item 22, GRC-109A 3-piece set #1: RX, TX, and small power supply. $350
