And no matter how nicely you try to bring them back down 
to Earth, even if you tell them you're not trying to buy it,
they won't listen.  They just say you're trying
to beat them out of their "golden horde of treasure."
Remember the TBL guy?  They just keep swirling round'n'round
the "you're trying to cheat me" paranoia drain until the
equipment ends up in the dump.  Blasted shame.
