David:
I had to go all the way back to Catalog 25 in 1967 to find that cable. The brief entry in the catalog makes two pertinent points. The dimensional characteristics are the same as FHJ4-50A, but there is 12% degradation in attenuation, and 10% degredation in power capability. The answer you seek, however is this: The connectors for the aluminum cable are the same as those for copper, EXCEPT THEY ARE CHROME PLATED. The part numbers listed for the connectors are the same with an additional suffix of -3. Example, the UHF jack for copper is Type 44AU, while that for aluminum is 44AU-3. These old catalogs are not near as informative as the current ones are, the jacket OD is .62", the corrugation OD is .54", and the minimum bending radius is 6". And that's it.
A number of years ago, Andrew changed their foam Heliax® designations from the FHJ series to the LDF series. I have no idea if the dimensional characteristics are the same or not, or what other things changed. You will likely have to try one of the 1/2" LDF connectors to see if it fits, and then get it chrome plated if it does. If it doesn't fit, look for 44xx series connectors and get them plated unless you are extremely lucky and can find 44xx-3 series already plated. Good luck.

Greetings. I have about 150 ft of ANDREW HARDLINE FLJ4-50A that I would like
to find a data sheet for. I called Andrew and they were not able to help me,
also I couldn't find any thing on the net ether.
Does anyone have some older Andrew catalogs that might have a listing for
this coax, all that I know is that it is 1/2 inch corrugated aluminum ( not
copper) and is 50 ohms impedance and looks the connectors used on the copper
should work ok.
Any help you can give would be great.
Thanks.
