Milsurplus nerds like us are also into railroading.
If you're in the area check Northlandz in Flemington, New Jersey. Besides having the largest model railroad exhilit the owner, Bruce Williams Zaccagnino, has a collection of pipe organs. The highlight of the visit for my wife was the organ concert by Bruce.

The rocker, Rod Stewart, is a huge model railroader fan and has visited the museum. Northlandz has a portrait of Rod and his second wife, model Rachel Hunter.
We visited Northlandz on a quiet day ha a nice conversation with Bruce. He is one of the fortunate few who has turned his hobbies into his profession.

Wnat your own? It won;t be the largest, but it's pretty damn cool. Their is a
church about 5 miles from my house closing down and selling the beautiful old
pipe organ. Not sure what they want for it. But it's perfect for the man who has
everything.

Have the noticed the architecture of those old downtown department stores? They
don't build them like that any more...
What does this have to do with milsurplus? My first surplus gear was a Wireless
Mkll set complete with all parts in the original crate. I received it form an
uncle who purchased it from Macy's or Gimbel's after the war.

Has nothing to do with "my parade" or the size of Macy's organ. It is about
people - Mike

Not to rain on your parade, but the Macy's organ isn't the largest pipe
organ in the world, The convention center in Atlantic city is..(although,I
think the Macy's organ sounds better) I too saw this on you tube and was
surprised that no one bothered to research this info. Ross ----- "Mike
