This all true. He was very active in the AWA, his interests there were 
mostly in antique entertainment radios.  A large number of hams also  
enjoy the  organ , both classical and theater.  The current TV show, 
"Glee", is  set in Lima ,Ohio. We all know what is located there. It 
would be great to hear Fair Radio mentioned in an episode. Glee clubs 
usually have plenty nerds and geeks, surely one of them has discovered a 
passion for ARC/GRC/PRC.   When I was in high school 41 years ago,  the 
arrival  of the latest Fair catalog was the high point at the lunch time 
nerd table.  Or Meshna, G&G, Barry, Burstein-Applebee, Startronics and 
many others.  I had discovered an album of Air Force songs, and quickly 
had the nerds belting them out in gym class and the showers,  especially 
"Frig the Flying Fortress!". We would insert our own names in the crew 
positions,  and our favorite radio in the verse for the radio operator. 
Wonderful times, a great hobby and good friends, many careers inspired 
and enhanced .
