[Milsurplus] AN/URT-18 transmitter??

Hi John
I have not heard of this one either.
Looking through the Collins Collector Association site, I found no mention of it
in the 1959 Catalog index, PTO specifications or Mechanical Filter
specifications.  Does it have the same type of dust cover with the toggle snaps
and / or Collins style sub assemblies?  My only suggestion is to down load the
KWT-6 Components catalog at:

http://collinsradio.org/archives/manuals/KWT-6_Components.pdf

and see if any of the modules used in the GRR-13 are mentioned.  Perhaps your
set is another one of a kind Collins production unit that saw limited use or was
succeeded by another set from a different manufacturer?

In looking through the 1959 catalog, I did see mention of the 310U exciter which
is a possible answer to Nick's question about what exciter was used with the
URT-18.
Just another piece in the puzzle,
Jim

Is anyone familiar with the AN/GRR-13 receiver, another fixed-station
ARC-58/KWT-6 family derivative, though somewhat different from the 310F-6
discussed below.  Back in 1980, I acquired a bunch of GRR-13 stuff, probably
enough for at least one receiver with spares left over.  I'd love to restore it,
but have rarely even seen mention of it, let alone schematics for it.  It's been
on the back burner all these years for lack of documentation.  Does anyone have
a line on manuals for it?

John K9WT
