Is the CPX-1 similar to the APX-1? There's not a lot of information on these early IFF systems around, except basic descriptions. From what I can gather the APX-1 was a common early airborne system, most of the early WWII aircraft radio equipment made it over here to Australia due to the war in the Pacific,
