[Milsurplus] IFF unit?

Early on some ground IFF systems were given RC numbers, maybe for security 
or something else, I'm not sure.  They were "add-ons" to existing radars and 
often varied in detail depending on the associated radars.  Their individual 
units always had the familiar BC , PS, etc nomenclatures.  Eventually as 
they were upgraded and modified some grew in the AN system such as the 
AN/CPX-1.  The RC numbers that I previously listed are the correct 
nomenclature for your device.  I believe that I have the TM's for it.
