It is also worth remembering that 99-44/100% of people who have ever even 
heard of GO-9 or GP-7 (beginning with the incompetents who published the 
early Post-war Surplus Perversion Handbooks) think that those two were all that 
there ever were.  Very few realize that the two lines began with the GO and 
the GP.  It is strange that virtually no examples of any earlier versions of 
either line survive.  I have heard of two or three earlier GP's.  And have 
a manual on GP-6a, GP-6 and GP-7.  But I have never heard of anyone having 
anything earlier than GO-9.
