[Milsurplus] Does anybody remember a torque amplifier?

Yes, but the device I remember is not a common gear box, but a true
torque amplifier.  The motor mounted on the unit supplies the power.
Input angle = output angle with a lot more torque.  And I believe it's
all mechanical, but might have involved slipping clutches or something.
I didn't see the interior.  Guess I need to go look at some ancient
mechanical engineering text books.
