Most likely GF/RU. I have a fair PDF copy of "Staff Officer's Field Manual
for Amphibious Operations", FMF Pacific, 10 September 1944. In the
personnel and equipment lists for various type units from Division down it lists
radio types in vehicles so equipped. Types listed (from a quick page through)
are TCS, GF/RU, SCR-193 and SCR-299. TCS mostly show up in Jeeps, trucks
and LVT's. GF/RU in some trucks and in tanks and Half Tracks.
