Located in Watsonville CA - from a ham/CoastGuardsman's estate -
either it gets saved soon or scrapped.
This is an early 50's Navy rig - AM/CW/FSK, synthesized VFO,
300kc-20mc, 100w out from a 4-400 (500w in the SRT-15 version with an
add-on booster - bigger p/s and modulator).
It's definitely heavy metal and should be lots of fun to restore and operate.
Pick up only - it is 500lbs or so, but has pull-out drawers so OK for
two people to move.

Beyond this I know nothing - just got contacted by the deceased's son.
But I hope it gets saved! I believe this is a "free to a good home"
situation.
Contact Thor Egland - Eric.T.Egland at l-3com.com - it was his dad's transmitter.
