[Milsurplus] Variable Hertz AC Supply--Used For What?

There are more systems that use 80/115 VAC at 400 Hz: APN-2 (BC-929-A &
RT-1A/APN-2), ASB-5, maybe ARN-7 come to mind.
One caution: Fuse the output!
I screwed up some years ago with a different model static inverter. I'd
hooked one up to a BC-929-A and was running it. After about 5 minutes, the
indicator died, transformer leaking hot tar. It turned out, I had the unit
set for 40 Hz, not 400 and it killed the BC-929-A
