A13 transceiver repair
 
Having acquired a faulty A13 set I have been trying to track  down the 
faults. 
I found the pa driver transistor blown, with that replaced  there is 
carrier at the input to the pa pair but nothing coming out so I think  they too 
are scrap. Looking at the board closely I not sure if the  base and emitter 
pins of the pa pair (CV9033) are soldered in or just push into  sockets. If 
push fit I might be able to change them without getting the board  out. 
 
Has anyone got experience of this set, pa device changes or  such?
 
Replacement pair could be BUY24 or 2N3917/18/19. 
Has anyone tried any other types?
