Real surplus M1911 or M1911A1 magazines are common and pretty cheap,
but to answer the question:

A close approximation can be made by cutting a block that is
5 inches x 1-3/8 inches x 17/32 inches.  Then make a slant cut at
both ends of the long (5 inch) dimension that shortens each side,
making the block look like this:
 ______
/_____/

That would be close.  You could round one of the long edges back
with the radius beginning 0.25 inches from the edge it you wanted
to simulate that feature on the front of the magazine.
