| The RS-6 transmitter, the RT-6, is crystal-controlled only. There
| is no frequency control tie between the RT-6 and the RR-6. See
| the schematics at http://www.militaryradio.com/spyradio/rt6_sch.jpg
| and http://www.militaryradio.com/spyradio/rr6_sch.jpg .
|
| The RR-6 receiver could be either crystal-controlled or VFO.

An interesting problem with the RS-6 system is that you can not spot the
receiver to the transmitter frequency as there are no provisions. I've
operated the set quite a few times at field events and finally did a
modification using a small micro switch. See

Its a great set and very rugged.
