When I stopped traveling about the world, courtesy
of USAF, ARINC was all over, even some small
airports if they had scheduled commercial traffic.
Google just told me that they are now really every
place, and they're no longer only in the teletype
and microphone business. Not many people know
of ARINC's special status with many ICAO countries.
They can communicate with, and pass traffic to, many
places that US State Department won't let me go.
Trivia: A lot of WWII German receivers were regen.
