[Milsurplus] PRC-47

Good afternoon to the group,
 
A PRC-47 followed me home from a ham swapmeet here in Phoenix on  Saturday. 
 I've never had one of these as my collecting interest has always  been 
WW2.  I have a few questions that I hope the collective knowledge of  this 
august body can help me with.  It appears that the power supply is  built in and 
you just have to supply 24 volts to the power plug to make it work.  Is 
this correct?   It transmits on USB and CW only.  How  does one convert it to 
LSB?  I see that Fair Radio has the power cord and  handset for it.  Does 
anyone have an original whip antenna?
