Ralph -

I wonder if you would ever consider selling or trading your Fleming Valve? I
had three in my museum/collection, but, was forced to sell them during my
divorce. Would love to have another. Thanks & 73 - Mike

I find the best collectibles re those that show up unexpectedly. A
friend was once cleaning out his father's garage and gave me a basket of
tubes, barely recognizable under sawdust and dust.Upon inspection one
"tube" caught my eye and looked like a movie projection bulb. I vowed to
keep it until I identified it. Upon browsing the Marconi museum website,
I stumbled across a picture of it- a Fleming valve, type 2. Its
provenance is proven but the filament is gone. Still have it and will
end up donating it to a worthy museum.

Those surprises, among others are worth carefully sorting "junk".
