At the time e-Bay placed the change n Pay-pal required payments they would cancel any auctions which specificly noted that cash checks or meoney orders could be used in the discription. When questioned they said it was alowed only as an agreement between parties. One of the "canned" questions under "ask a question" is "How to pay for this". Funny how many sellers are under the impression that only paypal is allowed. I guess they'd rather give up a cut than wait a couple of days for a money order.

Some have the mistaken impression that PayPal payment is required.
Not so. If the seller will take an MO or similar, that can be
done. You might get an Ebay reminder to "pay," but that can
be ignored. No repercussions...
