I have a GSB-900sc that I have been using for years and have no complaints, you will need to jumper the interlock on the big plug in back for the transmit interlock and the memory battery tend to be dead in the couple I have seen due to there age and they do want a dynamic microphone and will not bias a carbon element. But the SSB performance is equal to most modern “Ham” transceivers. The AM is the typical ALC modulated fake AM (AME) and equal to most modern rigs. If you get them email me directly and I will send the information on how to jump the remote antenna tuner interlock.

Subject: [Milsurplus] GSB-900dx & GSL-1900 info

Well,

The subject line says it all. I have a possibility of acquiring a set of these.
I have to admit I know as much as I'm able to google in a few days, which isnt much.

So, if anyone can lend some info, much appreciate

I know the GSB900dx is the matching transceiver to the gsl-1900 amplifier
gsl1900 runs a 8877 ?

beyond that, little lite on the info

I'm looking to use it as a AM station, also in the mix is a T-368 ( which I'm familiar with)

So, if anyone has any words of wisdom, would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Rich
