Sadly, this is all too true. Still popular with us, problem being
there are fewer of us every day. No one coming behind us to speak of
with the same interest. The few that are will have a lot to choose
from, what with all the gear ebay saved from the dump.
I saw a nice, clean ARR-41 complete with shockmount and dynamotor go
unsold at a recent fest for $450. It was in great shape and worked
well, I knew the owner and would've loved to own it, but for the price
it just wasn't in the cards. I should've made him an offer, but he
probably would've accepted and I'd have had to try to make room for it
in an already-full vehicle with three occupants.
Always wanted one, too.
