Looks similar, but a few differences including the tubes (KT88s vs
6550s) and number/layout of the knobs. The one in the ad might be an
earlier model or prototype of some sort.

There are some really nice new tube amps and other gear out there
using the tubes and caps we so dearly crave. If not for the audio
industry and guitar amp folks, it's doubtful that much of the new
production stuff we enjoy (like the new AES Twist-Lok electrolytic
cans) wouldn't be available. Radioheads, particularly the ones who
prefer tube gear, are few in number compared to the them.

But that doesn't make the snake oil salesmen and new-age experts any
less amusing. :D There's a big difference between those who truly
appreciate a quality piece of gear and those who believe a $400 wooden
knob will make their amp sound better or some purple oxygen-free wires
can somehow offset the sins of their regular old house wiring - not to
mention all that power company cable outside.
