Some of the stuff these company's are selling is amazing. Speaker cables that have voltage placed on the insulation (what?) to balance the capacitance of the insulation???

I recording engineer that I met told me this story:

He was recording a famous British rock band (no names, please) and one of
the performers told him that the mike cable that he was using was "rubbish"
and he would only record with the red special mike cable. He did not have a
red mike cable, but he had a spool of red cable. He cut off a length of this
cable and threw it on the floor so that it looked like it was connected. The
performer then did another mike check and told everyone how much of an
improvement it was and anyone could easily hear the difference. Mark Twain
once said that a mine is a hole in the ground with a fool at the bottom and
a liar at the top. The same applies to the "Premium Audio Business".
