When I was pumping gas in Pittsburgh in the early 60s, those gas war prices
got as low as 7-8 cent/gallon. Other regions varied from that though.

I remember a new 1966 Ford Fairlane listed at $2719 (w/ v8) and gas
wars put the price for regular at $ .19.9.
Even so, $69.95 for an ART-13 still sounds good. (circa early '60s)
