Use a single edged razor blade and a VERY steady "hand". Let the paint cure for 3 or 4 days before starting and then hold the blade parallel to the panel and gradually remove the paint from the lettering. Scrape the paint in one direction only. That is, do not go "back and forth".

I have a friend who is ready to repaint his TCS receiver panel after chemically removing the paint and we noticed how shallow the raised lettering was on this panel. Not sure now how to approach removing the paint from the raised lettering after the panel has been re painted. My fear is that trying to sand paper it or use a X-ACTO blade is going to scrape the paint up on the panel because the lettering is not raised enough above the panel face.
