[Milsurplus] Help pse - Dead PRC-47 - Astron VLS-25M-35 PSU schematic needed

A local ham has a near mint PRC-47, unmodified, in the original shipping
container, with all the accessories. I could hold my head in the container
all day. The fragrance is wonderful!!  He would like to sell it to me.  One
small problem:  a prior owner apparently (solder tracks on the AC input
connector are the only clue) fired up (literally) this PRC on 60 cycle AC.
It will not now show any signs of life using the subject Astron PSU to feed
it DC. A 400 cycle source is not available.  The tranny primaries show
continuity.  Where would one look next for a component that would have been
potentially fried on 60 cycle AC? How much would be too much to pay for a
dead PRC-47, fully loaded? 

Also does anyone have an Astron VLS-25M-35 schematic that you would be
willing to scan or fax to me?  Perhaps there is a problem with the PSU or a
problem with the manner in which he is attempting to feed it to the PRC.
