[Milsurplus] Navy SX-28

Hue,

I am now the proud owner of the RAY and panadaptor that was being sold with
it. But the panadaptor I bought is not the one you see in the ad. I have
had a few tempting thoughts about repackaging it to fit in a rack so I could
build a semi-clone of integrated Navy unit but will likely not. It looks
very cool just sitting there. :-)

Next step is a careful assault on the RAY's out of spec resistors and leaky
caps.

I receive the Milsurplus list via digest form so if you wish a speedier (or
any) reply, please email me directly.

73,
Chris

BTW, same magazine, Apr 1945 on exhibition of Navy radio equipment at
Chicago, I can see a SX-28 with some kind of panadaptor above it, mounted
in same overall cabinet - not 2 separate units. Also I see a TBY, would have
thought it was history by then.
Also BTW, what ever happened to that RAY (SX-28) down in CA, did it sell?
