Maybe he can't hear it as well as he thinks he does...  the frequency 
has been 15,734 Hz ever since
color TV became the dominant mode; they needed to tweek it to make a 
window for the color burst
signal!

A 16 Hz error...  over a .01% difference.  I'd say THAT'S a 
significant hearing loss!

NO true audiophool would miss something THAT obvious!!!   ;o)
