I still have the first video frame buffer card I designed - it used 32
new-fangled 16Kx1 DRAMs at $60 each -  256x256 resolution 8 bit
(grayscale) display.

Nick, with a Heathkit H-11 (DEC PDP-11/03) and 8" floppy disks running
RT-11 in the basement....
back there behind all the AN/ Navy gray radio gear....
